Smithsonian Glow in the Dark Giant Volcano
Overview:
Build your very own model volcano! The orange glow-in-the-dark paint creates the effect of lava flowing down the sides. When your 14-inch volcano is dry, erupt it with baking powder and vinegar. As your volcano erupts, the “lava” will glow in the dark, just like a real volcano. An enclosed color STEM poster teaches about different kinds of volcanoes, where to find them, how they form, what makes them erupt, and more.
