Self-Cleaning for Reduced Maintenance
An IFS also self-cleans itself, so you don’t have to worry about pulling the pump to clean it. The filter’s surface is made of triangular wire that provides a flat face. This prevents debris from attaching while the pump is on and the product is flowing through. When the pump turns off, the slight back-flush of product while the check valve closes pushes any debris off the face of the filter.
Factory or Retrofit Installed
An IFS can be easily retrofit installed on existing FE PETRO® submersible pumps as well as competitive 4” pumps. You can also have it factory-installed on any new submersible pump.
